Crash Test
The Impact Dispersal System is a new invention that takes a novel approach to reducing force from impacts. Unlike other systems, the Impact Dispersal System does not absorb the force, but disperses it away from the point of impact. The system does not use the body or frame to reduce the crash energy, when used in a vehicle or aircraft application.
MOTOR VEHICLE TRAFFIC CRASHES: U.S. IMPACT
- For children between the ages of 2 and 14, motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death
- Car accidents are the leading cause of acquired disability (e.g., brain injury, paralysis, etc,) for children nationwide
- In 2007, 41.5% of the Frontal Fatalities were using seat belts and had air bags
- In 2008, there were 5,811,000 police reported motor vehicle traffic crashes
- The cost of motor vehicle crashes that occurred in 2000 totaled $230.6 billion. This is equal to approximately $820 for every person living in the United States
- Global Impact: Annually, road traffic crashes cause 1.2 million deaths

AIRCRAFT CRASHES
- The crashworthiness features of the seats and landing gear become a significant factor in determining whether the occupant receives serious injury or even death
